DAITH PIERCING

I had my Daith pierced today. It is commonly done to prevent migraines, but I actually really like the piercing and wanted it done for the look of it.

The piercing itself wasn't painful. There was pressure and a scratch feeling to begin with, then after a few seconds it was over and done. At that point it felt like I had the needle still in my ear, so I knew the jewellery had to be put in still. That part wasn't at all bad either: a slight discomfort as the final part of the bar went through, but after that it was fine.

My horseshoe bar has to stay in for 6 weeks, then it will be changed to a bar to aid the further 6 weeks healing, then after that I'm able to switch to a boho ring that I so badly want. Patience is key!

There wasn't any bleeding. No pain afterwards. No faint or dizzy feeling.

I would absolutely recommend it. I score the pain about a 3/10.
