MAYBELLINE COLOUR TATTOO - DUPE ALERT!
This little gem is a dupe for MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot.
If like me you binge watch Nikkie Tutorials on YouTube, you'll know she uses MAC Soft Ochre all the time as her eye primer / base.
I went into MAC a couple weeks back ready to buy the product. I checked out the two colours most used as eye primers - Soft Ochre and Painterly. Painterly is a more pinky shade which would match your own skin tone if you were looking for a more natural look, Soft Ochre is more of a conceal colour to block out your own skin tone and create a clean base. I swatched them both and decided Soft Ochre was for me (obviously channeling my inner Nikkie).
Before commiting to buy I set about finding a Dupe - there isn't always one available, but for such a popular product and expensive too, it was worth a go.
I stumbled across Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hour in shade 93 Creme de Nude and 91 Creme de Rose. The reviews of this were very much hinting towards it being a good dupe for MAC.
Creme de Rose is like Painterly and Creme de Nude is like Soft Ochre.
The pot is £4.99 and available in Boots & Superdrug. I got mine in my last Superdrug haul when they had 3 for 2 on all products.
I'll be using / reviewing this when I next do a full face.
